I must come clean with a bit of a man crush for Folkert Gorter. Not only has he designed some of my favourite sites such as GOOD and Space Collective, he also has a rather lovely collection of photography.

German designer Julian’s portfolio hosts a great collection of print works including this great project for African King König Bansah.

I don’t know much about Markus Hofko, but what I do know is his new site is packed with curious and fun work.

By painting on multiple layers of glass Xia Xiaowan and David Spriggs managed to create these totally awesome artworks.

I was in a recording studio this weekend, and I was lucky enough to see one of these in person, the Roland RE-201, more commonly known as the ‘Space Echo’. It uses a reel of tape to record delay sounds, rather than its digital counterparts today. Unfortunately it was broken, but what a fabulous piece of 70’s industrial design. Read more about it here.
