Do you guys think there will be SHNACKS!? I heard there will be shnacks. Maybe one shnack will be pizza. Anyway, we’re all gonna be there getting rid of t-shirts at illegally low prices, and signing comic books and the like. Maybe we can dive into a box of McNinja squishables and it will be all our dreams come true.

No, you haven’t gone crazy. Some mysterious god-force has cascaded across the archives of Dr. McNinja, changing the name of our comic’s very first villain… Donald McBonald.

I’d like to assure you that no, I haven’t received any pressure from any real world restaurants to make the change. The truth is that when I wrote the very first Dr. McNinja comic, it was homework for an art school summer class. There was no consideration about publication of the comic or legal ramifications. But that story is part of McNinja continuity, and if I’m going to make big boy comics, I should do the bare minimum amount of work it takes to create the difference between perfectly legal parody and trademark theft… before I get sued.

February 3rd-5th Dinosaur Comics creator/Nerd Boss at the End of the Internet, Ryan North and I are going to be bro-ing it up at Running GAGG at SUNY Geneseo, just outside of Rochester, NY. Come see us! Saturday, Ryan will be giving a talk of some sort. The rest of the weekend, A KINGS RANSOM OF GAMES.

Besides the usual merchandise and books to sign, in honor of the gaming con, I’ll be illustrating custom D&D character sheets.
