Roseanne and Dan are back! Erm… we mean John Goodman.

EW has confirmed that the former Roseanne stars will once again grace the small screen together, this time as part of Roseanne Barr’s new pilot with NBC.

Downwardly Mobile, co-created by Barr, is a previously announced multi-cam comedy set to make the run for network pick-up in the next TV season. The show stars Barr as the head of a mobile home park, where she also acts as a surrogate mother to the residents, one of which Goodman will portray. Former Roseanne scribe Eric Gilliland also has his name attached as the other co-creator.

So… How I Earned My Inheritance?

Newton (Ugly Betty) will play one of the leads, and is about to start her recurring role on HIMYM on Monday as Barney’s latest love interest. HIMYM‘s Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Chris Harris will write and executive produce.

'Lost Girl': Seen it? Great. Here's an EXCLUSIVE clip.

spacer Let’s face it, with so much television available on both cable and broadcast networks, it’s hard to catch everything. But that leaves shows like Syfy’s Lost Girl in a rough spot in the television-sphere.

Between genre offerings on network TV and the fact that almost two seasons of the show have already aired on Canadian TV, it’s easy for this charming genre show to get lost in the American TV waters. Shame. Because if you enjoy supernatural stories (tinged with a healthy amount of sexy), odds stand that you might enjoy Lost Girl.

The show, which centers around a succubus named Bo (Anna Silk), made its way to Syfy in late January to mixed reviews. But those who have stuck around have become vocal fans of Bo (not to mention her best friend Kensi, played by Ksenia Solo). Luckily, regardless of what box you’re checking in this situation, here’s a little something for you: READ FULL STORY »

If there’s anyone who knows how to pull off a successful love triangle, it’s Kevin Williamson. As the creator of The CW’s highest-rated series, The Vampire Diaries, he’s managed to keep fans constantly questioning whether the show’s central character, Elena (Nina Dobrev), will end up with emotionally tormented vampire, Stefan (Paul Wesley), or his undead bad-boy brother, Damon (Ian Somerhalder).

It’s a position he’s been in before. Williamson also developed the sharp late ’90s teen drama, Dawson’s Creek — another show with a much buzzed-about romantic dynamic. Though Williamson didn’t helm the love triangle on Dawson’s, when the series wrapped up after six seasons, as the creator, it was up to him to decide whether Joey (Katie Holmes) would end up with soul mate Dawson (James Van Der Beek) or teen love Pacey (Joshua Jackson). In the end, she chose Pacey — a decision that shippers continue to grapple with today. READ FULL STORY »

TBS has ordered 10 episodes of Sullivan and Son, a bar-set comedy starring comedian Steve Byrne and exec produced by Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, and showrunner Rob Long (Cheers). The show, which will premiere this summer, is set in a popular working-class neighborhood drinking hole in Pittsburgh. Byrne plays a corporate attorney from New York who brings his girlfriend home for a visit just as his Irish-American father, Jack Sullivan (The Wonder Years‘ Dan Lauria) and Korean mother, Ok Cha (Beginners‘ Jodi Long), are preparing to sell the bar and retire. He decides to stay and run it. If you’re thinking Paddy’s Pub in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, don’t. Sullivan & Son is the “unofficial town hall,” so we assume they have actual customers.
