Whether you are going out to eat at a café or restaurant, commuting to work or shopping for the week’s groceries, riding a bicycle is a safe, healthy and fun way to get around town.
By state statute, bicycles are legal and intended users of all roads in Wisconsin. As long as you obey those laws and are aware of a few conflict areas, it is as safe or safer to ride a bicycle as it is to drive a car.
