I am also a contributor and editor of the Internet Marketing from the Real Experts and I have a new book out called “It’s All About the Cookies“, which is a business book cleverly disguised as a cookbook. The net proceeds of the sales of these books are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, respectively.  I recently launched PinkPurpose.com a site that provides news and resources about Breast Cancer and has a Pink Shop in which all of the proceeds are donated to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

For the last 11+ years, I’ve helped companies grow their businesses successfully using the pay-for-performance model.  Before I quit my day job and decided to work for myself, I was Director of Public Relations for Media Breakaway LLC, Vice President of Partnership Marketing for eBound Strategies, President of Aluria Software and Vice-President of Marketing for Global Travel International.

I speak at many events about topics related to the affiliate marketing industry.  I particulary love speaking at entrepreneurial events as I love teaching people how to make money online using affiliate marketing.

I hate cold weather, flavored coffee and meat.

I love wine.  Lots and lots of wine.  (Find out about my new wine, Signorina.  Net proceeds go to fight breast cancer) ***Update — all sold out!

Hi Missy. My wife had 2 mastectomies about 11 years ago and now has some quiet stuff in her old bones so I'm always interested in other folks that want to help with cancer research. I'm trying to get a business off the ground in NC but I'm a geek type and don't know the right people with funding to actually do computer research to help with cancer research. I worked for a while with a lab in Scotland that did fluorescent microscopy and I did software for a server to send huge amounts of images across the net. Anyhow, enough geek. If you have any ideas to socialize my work, please let me know. I really would love to be writing software to help people live. I'm sort of doing that now with something related to the iPhone.

Missy, Brian Williams has been telling me to get to know you for a little bit. I apologize for taking so long, now I know why he wanted us to connect, smile.

You are a perfect definition of what I call a “Spirit Based Entrepreneur Making Difference & Profit”

Hey, Melissa:

Found you via AdRants. Steve and Angela occasionally link to me. (I've linked my name to my blog here.)

As your former employee (man, that place went to hell after you left) I am now going to tell you what to do: Scale back the reflection on your logo. Let it fade more at the bottom. That is all.

Speaking of wine: my wife bought a bottle of Fat Bastard. I think she's trying to tell me something.
