- Michelin Career Center's Caren Kelley-Hall and instructor of Strategies for Addressing Diversity in the Classroom will provide an informative seminar to help graduate students increase their diversity awareness, providing insight into developing effective working relationships despite the obvious differences and the hidden similarities. Relationship building in the workplace is critical for career success.

- Participants will learn about and discuss the resources available for finding an internship. The requirements and advantages of the CCINT internship course will also be discussed.

Work / Life Balance

- Michelin Career Center, 316 Hendrix Student Center
- When you add being in graduate school to your life equation, it isn't as easy and we might have thought to juggle everything important to us. Too often we hear and say – I really need to work on my work/life balance. What does balance really mean? This workshop will help you reexamine the concept of "work/life balance," what the research says about how graduate students trying to achieve this balance, and how changing your way of thinking will result in a transferable skill you can use beyond graduate school.
