Very Nice…
“Hands Up” really should be the next call to duty just for the sake of standing up for love and what you believe is right. Sure, the picture speaks thousandths for those of us who identify with Jay-Z in some way and consider ourselves to be a part of the old Rocafella street built family, but the art is more than looking at the symbol all chalked out on concrete. The art is about representation, acknowledgement, and feeling connected through action and understanding. That’s how real love is built, and it’s also the moment when you know you got fans that will go through all the ups, downs, and craziness right with you and still be okay, even when it’s not easy to grab a hold to so called reality. I consider my connection to the Rocafella Symbol as being a spiritual binding filled with lessons that helped me to grow into the woman I am today. Celebrities are trendsetters or opinion leaders that a lot of us look to for inspiration and ideas, and that’s why all artist have to continue building their brand just like Rocafella members have done. Even after the unfriendly disbanding of most members, people still remember and hold out hope for a reunion. I’m that fan that doesn’t remember all the song titles, Grammy wins, or anniversaries, but the Rocafella Symbol is unforgettable. It consummates my love for Jay-Z as an artist and a man who happens to make music that I love. Now get yo hands up and show your love, and then leave your sentiments.
Good Night
