A Two-Sided Look at the New ‘Hunger Games’ Movie Trailer
When I applied to be an HGM intern, I said I’d bring a fresh perspective to the site. Today I’m bringing two.
Here’s how this will work: I will analyze a casting announcement, new trailer, etc. first as an optimist. Then my cynical side will rear its charming little head and analyze it as well. Just a note, I’m an optimistic person so more often than naught my true opinion will be closer to the first analysis.
That being said, I’m gonna turn it over to my optimistic side…
Hi, everyone! I’m Dani’s optimistic side. It’s so great to be here!
First of all, I just want to gush for a while and say this trailer was just as amazing as the first! It was nice to see some of the footage from the initial trailer incorporated into this new one. And, once again, the trailer displays the emotional, gut-wrenching, tear-jerking side of the “Hunger Games” series, which is a smart move. From the beginning, fans have been concerned the movie will focus on only the carnage of the Games, or amplify the love triangle between Katniss, Gale and Peeta. But I think that, in releasing these particular scenes, the whole cast and crew of the HG Movie are trying to assure the readers/viewers that this film will be as character driven as the book.

HQ Video of ET’s Sneak Peek of the ‘Hunger Games’ Superbowl Ad
Entertainment Tonight gave us a sneak peek at the Hunger Games ad that will be airing during the Superbowl pre-show this Sunday.
EDIT: Looks like Lionsgate has the video from Youtube taken down but ET does put up full episodes up on their site so you might be able to catch it there.

For those of you who have been waiting for the Hunger Games trailer music to be available on iTunes the wait is over! Previously you could only download the official song Deep Shadow, by T.T.L, from ZerOKilled Music directly, but now you can download from iTunes for only $0.99!
