WELCOME!

Welcome to Classroom20.com, the social network for those interested in  Web 2.0, Social Media, and Participative Technologies in the classroom. We encourage you to sign up to participate in the great discussions here, to receive event notifications, and to find and connect with colleagues. We have over 60,000 members from 181 countries!

Classroom 2.0 is a free, community-supported network. We especially hope that those who are "beginners" will find this a supportive comfortable place to start being part of the digital dialog. Because of spammers, we have to approve all memberships here. While your membership is pending you are still welcome to peruse the site or attend any events!

Once your membership is approved, you can introduce yourself to the whole network by going to the introductory forum message. Please also feel free to explore! Here are some starting tips and a "Tour of Classroom 2.0" Elluminate recording, or you can ask help of a "host."  Thanks so much for being here!

Classroom 2.0 LIVE! - Saturday Shows

spacer The topic for Saturday, February 11th will be "TPACK and Common Core Standards" featuring Steven Anderson. Steven will discuss how TPACK and Common Core Standards can help teachers create meaningful lessons that match technology components to curriculum content and learning activities.

More information and session details are at live.classroom20.com. If you're new to the Classroom 2.0 LIVE! show you might want to spend a few minutes viewing the screencast on the homepage to learn how we use Blackboard Collaborate (formerly Elluminate), and navigate the site. Each show begins at 12pm Eastern (GMT-5) and may be accessed in Blackboard Collaborate directly using the following Classroom 2.0 LIVE! link at tinyurl.com/cr20live.

On the Classroom 2.0 LIVE! site (live.classroom20.com) you'll find the recordings from our recent "Using Evernote" featuring William Stites. Click on the Archives and Resources and recordings tab.
