Join us at the Parker Palm Springs Hotel on February 25 - 26 for the second annual Intelligent Content Conference.

What’s Intelligent Content?

Intelligent content is content which is not limited to one purpose, technology or output. It's content that is structurally rich and semantically aware, and is therefore discoverable, reusable, reconfigurable and adaptable. It's content that helps you and your customers get the job done. It's content that is limited only by our imaginations.

Welcome to Intelligent Content 2011 – All Things Delivered.

It’s all about delivery. You may have the most exciting content in the world, but if you can’t deliver it in a way that is accessible, useful, relevant, timely and cost-effective, it has no value. Intelligent content is content that has been consciously designed to be open, reusable, and reconfigurable – adapting dynamically to fit the unique needs of both producers and customers.

Delivery means so much more than printing today; it includes traditional printing, yes, but it also includes all forms of online and mobile media. And it’s not just words; it’s sound, it’s animation, it’s interactive.

Intelligent Content 2011 is all about getting your content delivered to your customer, no matter where they are, or how they’re experiencing it.

If getting your information out to your customers is your focus, intelligent content makes sense for you. Check out the conference website for more information.

Intelligent Content 2010 was a blast!

Once again we want to thank everyone who attended, spoke at, or sponsored IC2010.

It looks like you enjoyed the conference as much as we did. We’ve been gratified by comments like:

  • One of the best I’ve attended
  • Well worth it – what a great event!
  • It was really a great conference
  • Thanks for organizing a great conference
  • I greatly enjoyed the conference!

Now it is time to rest and focus on our plans for next year. We’ll have pictures up in a few days.

Thank You

Thanks to all who attended the Intelligent Content 2010 Conference. We hope you enjoyed it and found it to be useful.

We have one final scheduled event.

For those of you who are still in Palm Springs, and want to take the Palm Springs Tramway excursion, we will be gathering in the Parker Lobby at 8:00 am on Saturday morning. We’ll head out to breakfast at a local restaurant, and then head to the foot of the mountain.

It’s an impressive ride and well worth the time. Tickets are $35. There’s snow at the top of the mountain, so please dress accordingly.

We hope you have a safe trip home, and look forward to seeing you all again.

Welcome to Intelligent Content 2010

A warm welcome to an unseasonably cool Palm Springs.

It may be chilly outside, but it’s warm inside, and we have a full slate of of wonderful speakers.

We look forward to meeting you in person over the next two days.

Check out what’s happening on Twitter. Use the hash tag #IC2010 to search, or in your own tweets so others can follow!

Almost there!

It’s less than a week ’till Intelligent Content 2010.

We’ve working on setting up our Birds of a Feather sessions for Thursday night.

We’re still working on the details, but at this point are planning sessions about metadata, user centered design, social media, marketing, evangelizing Intelligent Content and using non-traditional tools.

There looks to be something for everyone.

Intelligent Content: Just Two Weeks Away

The Intelligent Content Conference is just two weeks away and we’re looking forward to meeting you!

In addition to a terrific program we have a lot of exciting events planned including:

  • Fabulous food. A real breakfast with eggs, potatoes and vegetables. Terrific lunches and yummi snacks. Remember that The Parker Palm Springs is a Spa and destination so all food will be healthy and delicious and we have taken note of your allergies and food preferences.
  • “Birds of a Feather” networking dinners for Thursday night (see below)
  • Pre-dinner Palm Springs downtown sights. They shut down the core for a fair and market. We’ve got a shuttle that will take you downtown where you can wander through the fair then meet for your dinner.
  • We are planning outdoor luncheons and afternoon snacks so don’t forget your sunscreen!
  • If you are staying over Friday night we have a trip planned to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway on Saturday morning.

Birds of a Feather

A “Birds of a Feather” is an opportunity to eat great food and chat about a subject you are particularly interested in. We’ll pick an assortment of great restaurants to host them. You are responsible for the cost of your dinner, but we can help with the conversation!

We’ve got a great new place for you to stay.

The rooms at the Parker are all filled, but we’d like to suggest the
Ace Hotel Palm Springs.

It’s a small boutique hotel located halfway between the conference venue and downtown Palm Springs. It’s just a few minutes away from the conference hotel. Rates there are $149 per night (there’s no Friday supplement and the resort fee has been waived). To book there, call Group Reservations at 760-866-6191, and of course, mention the Intelligent Content conference.

And we’ve arranged a deal with the Hilton Garden Inn, a just a bit farther away in Rancho Mirage. To book rooms there, please contact Barbara Lyons at the Hilton, either by phone (760-601-3265) or email (barbara.lyons@hilton.com). The rates at the Hilton are $129.9 for February 24, 25, 27 & 28 and $159.95 for Friday February 26th.

Prices are not inclusive of taxes.
