E-Reader challenge
Choosing is not my cup of tea. On entering a shop I keep glancing at the shop-window for several minutes and then a thought strikes me “It would be better if they suggested less things! (at least, those I currently need)”.
I wonder: “Does a person really need such a large assortment of goods, which are generally rather similar?”
Due to this wide choice many people are practically unable to decide on anything in a store.
Astak vs Kindel
I believe, my comparative approach will be quite helpful in effective obtaining of the e-Reader with no difficulties.
So, what makes it difficult to choose? First of all, it's the price. For instance, you are ready to spend $200 and find (say, on this website) 11 wonderfully-looking devices. Let’s compare two of them, for example 6’’ Kindle Wireless Reading Device and Californian 5’’Astak EZ Reader Pocket Pro.
At this time Amazon Kindle DX 6"(Amazon.com)cost only 139.99$ (with 3G it's only 189$). Obviously the price goes against Astak.
Display.
The most important thing in any e-Reader is the display. These two e-Readers aren’t different in the type of display as they use the same 2nd-generation Viziplex e-paper. If the e-paper was different, you wouldn’t even consider buying either of these devices. The e-paper of the previous generation was used by Sony PRS-500 and LBook V8 and their displays had bad contrast and trouble with tracks that remained from the previous page. TFT-display devices, however, like Ectaco Jetbook+ were much worse than even the e-paper of the 1st generation.
Here the devices are equal.
Size.
Kindle outstrips Astak when it comes to the size of the display. But is
