Gwyneth Paltrow Would Rather Have Wrinkles Than Botox

Posted: February 10th, 2012 - No Comments

Gwyneth Paltrow has always cared about maintaining a healthy, fit figure, but when it comes to the process of aging, the actress is more than happy to just let nature run its course. In an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s March issue, the GOOP writer discusses her thoughts on getting older and says something which has probably never been uttered from a Hollywood star before: “I’ll take my wrinkles. I don’t like the Botox thing.” Well, I guess there’s a first for everything.

Amanda Seyfried Defends Her Sex Life

Posted: February 9th, 2012 - No Comments

Amanda Seyfried wants you to know that just because she’s been romantically linked to some of the hottest hunks in Hollywood — Dominic Cooper, Ryan Phillippe and Alexander Skarsgard, to name a few — doesn’t mean that she’s sleeping around. In a recent interview with Glamour magazine, the actress opened up about her dating life, saying, “I’m terrified of being promiscuous. I don’t like the feeling you get when it’s not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward.” She goes on to add, “It’s just uncomfortable when you’re with somebody and you’re like, ‘I don’t really know if I’m even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!’ I think dating can come without sex.” That’s definitely a moral philosophy to live by, but she almost protests too much, which could signal that she has been promiscuous in the past and now regrets it. If that’s the case she really shouldn’t beat herself up about it. Given the caliber of male eye-candy she’s been hanging around lately, no one would blame her. – Glamour

Nicky Minaj’s Deman List

Posted: February 8th, 2012 - No Comments

Apparently Nicki Minaj’s tour rider is looking to receive 15 minutes of fame by revealing to Wonderland magazine what it takes to keep the singer happy while on the road. Minaj’s list of requirements includes two dozen pink or white roses, candles with the scent of baked goods, two space heaters, Halls Mentho-Lyptus Honey Lemon Throat Cough Drops, Bumble Bee tuna in water, three 12-piece buckets of spicy fried chicken (no thighs allowed), and 24 bottles of Dasani water — 12 at room temperature, 12 on ice. It’s not the most insane set of demands a celebrity has ever made, but you have to give the girl props for her level of specificity. – US, Wonderland

Hater Moms Attack Ellen DeGeneres

Posted: February 7th, 2012 - No Comments

After Ellen DeGeneres announced her partnership with JC Penny last week, a group known as OneMillionMoms.com (from the American Family Association) is petitioning to get the TV host fired because she’s openly gay. A statement on their site reads, “Funny that JC Penney thinks hiring an open homosexual spokesperson will help their business when most of their customers are traditional families.” It goes on to say, “Degeneres is not a true representation of the type of families that shop at their store. The majority of JC Penney shoppers will be offended and choose to no longer shop there.” Luckily, GLAAD has come to DeGeneres’ defense and started a petition of their own to prove to the store they made the right decision after all. So if you’re pro-Ellen (as we all should be), head over to the GLAAD site and help stop these hater-moms from stomping all over Ellen’s dance parade. – Radar, GLAAD, OneMillionMoms.com

Madonna Thinks Britney Spears Is Better Than Lady Gaga

Posted: February 6th, 2012 - No Comments

It’s no secret that Madonna speaks her mind (hey, did you know she doesn’t like hydrangeas?), so when the press started comparing her to the likes of Lady Gaga, she had a few things to say on the matter. Earlier this month, the Material Girl callously commented on Gaga’s “Born This Way,” calling it “a wonderful way to redo my song.” That in itself is pretty much a slap in the face, but now she’s extended her wrath even further by inferring that the 25-year-old singer isn’t as talented as Britney Spears in the March issue of The Advocate. Ouch.

Lana Del Rey Lands ‘Vogue’ Cover, Doesn’t Want to Write Another Album

Posted: February 5th, 2012 - No Comments

You may not have taken the time to figure out who the full-lipped songstress Lana Del Rey is, but you’ve definitely seen her name pop up on just about every celebrity or music site in the past month. Her song “Video Games” garnered some buzz on its own, enough to earn her a spot as a musical guest on SNL before she even released an album. The languid performance immediately earned her lots of ire from the public and subsequently, some defending from Daniel Radcliffe (who hosted the episode in which she performed). And since her album dropped, she’s all anyone can talk about, which is probably why she nabbed the cover of March’s UK Vogue.

Reese Witherspoon Talks Plastic Surgery and Body Image

Posted: February 4th, 2012 - No Comments

There’s no denying Reese Witherspoon is utterly adorable. She’s always smiling and joking around, which makes her seem like a genuinely down-to-earth person. That’s a pretty rare quality to find, especially in a Hollywood star as famous as she is. But if you need any more convincing on the matter, the actress’s recent interview with UK Glamour pretty much proves it. Not only is Reese not interested in plastic surgery, but she doesn’t allow herself to fret about her body image.

Brad Pitt Gives His Kids Coca-Cola For Breakfast

Posted: February 3rd, 2012 - No Comments

As a kid, I never wanted to get up in the mornings to go to school. What can I say? I liked to sleep in – and still do, by the way. But thankfully Brad Pitt has come up with the perfect motivational tactic to get today’s generation of youngsters out of bed and into the classroom (take notes, parents). The secret is: give them soda for breakfast. It’s a genius plan, right? Sugary treats are the perfect incentive to help get kids out of bed and once they consume all that caffeine they’ll have more than enough energy to get to school on time. Where was this information when I was growing up? I’m totally going to start doing this now.

Reese Witherspoon Admits She Had a Crush on Johnny Depp

Posted: February 2nd, 2012 - No Comments

Proving that she had good taste in men even at a young age, Reese Witherspoon recently admitted in an MTV interview that before she was famous, she had a huge celebrity crush on the legendary Johnny Depp. When asked to recall the first celebrity object of her affection, the actress confessed, “I have to say probably Johnny Depp in ’21 Jump Street.’ I just had a really major crush on him. I used to pull pictures out of Teen Beat and put them on my wall.” (She’s not the only one!). But even now that she’s famous herself, she’s never told Depp about her former feelings, saying, “I don’t think he knows. I’m not sure it would faze him: I’m sure he’s heard that quite a bit.” True, but adoration is nice no matter who you are. – MTV

Brad Pitt Spotted With a Cane?!

Photographers recently caught Brad Pitt walking around with a cane, making many people wonder what’s ailing him. Well, according to a source, the actor “tore his MCL,” injuring one of four ligaments that stabilizes the knee joint. It’s still unclear what caused the ailment in the first place, but I’m sure Angelina Jolie is taking good care of him. At least now he has a nice accessory to go along with that shaggy scruff and long hair of his. – Just Jared

Normally, one would think dating Harry Potter would be a dream come true, but according to Daniel Radcliffe it isn’t all that fulfilling. In an interview with Parade magazine, the actor admits, “I’m not an easy person to love. There are lots of times when I’m a very good boyfriend, but there are times when I’m useless.” He goes on to explain, “I mean, I’m a mess around the house. I talk nonstop. I become obsessed with things — fantasy football, most recently.” So, in other words, he just described nearly the entire male population. – Parade
