conversations with a half-asleep wife | 02.01.12
Scene: It’s the evening after we have stocked up on my favorite variety of Girl Scout cookies, the elusive Lemonades. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a little obsessed with them. And apparently was dreaming about them.
Brooke: “All I do is keep picturing those boxes of Girl Scout cookies….”
Nick: “What?”
Brooke: “The boxes of Girl Scout cookies.”
Nick, awoken by my rambling, and confused, thinking I’m awake: “Uh, do you want me to go downstairs to get them for you?”
Brooke: “NO — I just keep picturing those boxes of Girl Scout cookies.”
Nick: “Okay…”
Brooke: “The boxes of cookies that are downstairs in the kitchen.”
Nick: “Right… so do you want me to get them for you?”
Brooke: “NO! Nevermind. I know I’m not making any sense.”
I never did get my Lemonades that night. But never fear — I survived.

hahaha now I want some lemonade cookies too!! Too funny!
Haha!! I used to do that ALL THE TIME! And I would get so frustrated at Rob when he didn’t understand what I was talking about. :)
My husband tells me that there’s a point where I start to doze off that I start the most random discussions with him, and the next morning I have no clue what I was talking about. LOL!
BTW, I’m totally jealous that you already have your hands on some girl scout cookies! I’m (im)patiently waiting for our order to come in!
