Since investing in an iPhone, it has become a part of me. Literally. I am constantly using it to take pictures of everything from the current color I’m rocking on my nails, to my look
du jour, and, not to be forgotten, my feline family. That said, sometimes getting a great angle when taking pictures can be a difficult task, as you’re using one hand to hold the camera/phone, and trying to pose with the other half of your body. It can result in a lot of necessary contortionist-type acts, as many of you already know. Thus, I was thrilled to learn about Case-Mate’s newest iPhone accessory…the Pop! With Stand Case.
I myself have been dying to try out the neon trend, but am scared to do so in large doses; so when I was offered my choice, I opted for a bright pink and yellow mix that brings to mind Body Glove wetsuits, and
Saved By the Bell’s Kelly Kapowski (all things eighties/early nineties, to be sure). The color combination itself is super eye-catching, playful, and fun; being bright but not glaringly so. Colors aside, from the moment I received this case, I have been thrilled with it. The outside is a hard shell, while the interior of the case is soft and cushioned – a mix that is perfect for protection, without adding too much bulk or weight to your device. Of course, the thing that I am most obsessed about in regards to this case is the built-in kickstand.
This case is, without a doubt, one of the greatest inventions for iPhone users – especially if you use your iPhone for taking pictures often. Using the kickstand, you can position your iPhone to stand vertically or horizontally on a flat surface to take pictures (my friends and I used it recently when we wanted to take a picture of all of us at brunch, and it worked like magic); or, if you simply want to stand your phone up, as opposed to laying it down on tables and such, it’s a winner for that, as well. A built-in kickstand seems like such a small detail for an iPhone, but once you start using it, you won’t know how you ever survived without one!
