Installation
- Download the zip file and extract the contents.
- Make sure you’re running WordPress version 2.3 or better. It won’t work with older versions.
- Upload the folder to your plugins directory.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘plugins’ page in WP.
- See widget options to adjust things like display size, clock style and so on. The widget settings take a minute to load to due rendering all the clock on one page.
Frequently Asked Questions
My theme/site appears not to like this plugin. It’s not displaying correctly.
- In most cases the issue is caused by markup errors in the page where the plugin is used. Please fix any errors with your theme.
- The plugin requires Flash Player 9 or better and javascript. Please be sure you’ve got both.
The clock is aligned off-center
- Try tweaking the width and height parameters. It’s likley the width should be reduced if the clock is to far to the right.
What is with the question mark
- There is a very small question mark included in the clock that leads you to the information page for this widget. This is to spread the word about my widget to other people who be interested in installing it. You can remove this if you like, but I would really appreciate some other form of attribution (blog post, blogroll link, or whatever)
How I can change the clock style ?
- You can change the flash clock style from widget options.

Is there an easy way to change the time zone? Mine appears right, but where is it getting the information from?
The clock uses javascript to get your client side time. It should always be correct time for the user viewing it.

Congratulations on your flash clock wordpress widget plug-in, i did not test it but i was wondering if it works till wordpress 2.9.1, anyway i will test it, i myself have a website about flash clocks, and i want a programmer to create a wordpress plugin like that for my website, are you interested? How much will it cost? Thanks.
Hi,
Flash clocks, you could put your clock in my plugin and do what you will with it. It is GPL so there are no restrictions. Any php guy could throw them in pretty easily.
Can i use your plugin to insert my flash clocks? Thanks, you are truly generous. Do you want to make a partnership? We could make a new package, with my professional clocks included, i make a reference in my website at front-page and sub-page, my flash clocks would impact your wordpress plugin for sue, it would be a great partnership, what do you say about that?
Love Clocky. A really elegant and fun widget!
How do you not have a caption at the top and how do you get rid of the questionmark?
Sorry on not responding to comments, or them not getting posted. I am buried in Spam comments. I have 16,714 Pending comments, only 2 of which are labeled spam. But 99% of them are spam, and digging through it all seems so depressing
