Gotham Skeptic is the official blog of New York City Skeptics. The purpose of Gotham Skeptic is to:

• Offer informed commentary and opinion on topics of skeptical and scientific interest
• Provide a forum for reasoned debate among members of the skeptical community
• Promote critical thinking, skeptical inquiry, and science education among the general public
