Topic: TinyMCE 3.4.8 Released

This release is a maintenance release. Various bugs and issues where fixed, see the changelog for details.

Various fixes where applied to the autoresize plugin. It will now auto resize to the contents without any throbber and it works a lot better on WebKit browsers.

A few list handling issues on WebKit were also resolved as well as a fix for Opera where it would delete the first character of a caret formatted word if you used backspace.

Re: TinyMCE 3.4.8 Released

Hi there...

Short bug-report:

Found a problem to "format" and "deformat" sentences via TinyMCE function-button "bold".

Example:

-sentence bold-#13#10
-sentence bold-#13#10
-sentence bold-#13#10
#13#10
#13#10
-sentence bold-#13#10
-sentence bold-#13#10
-sentence bold-#13#10

...you can not change the text from "bold" to "normal" text via the "TinyMCE-Button Bold". This function work only with the "short cut Strg-B".

Here: TinyMCE 3.4.8, tested it with Windows Internet Explorer (IE) 8.x

P.S: See also "<strong>...</strong>" and "<b>...</b>".

Best regards,
Robin

Re: TinyMCE 3.4.8 Released

Hi Spocke :-)

In this case an user have copy and paste a text, after this, he have saved the text. Then he has reload the text. HTML format was for the bold text "<strong>".

Then you can not change after a select the bold text to a normal text with the "TinyMCE bold button."

Best regards,
Robin

Re: TinyMCE 3.4.8 Released

..oh, oh!

See now, that this problem is also in the version 3.4.7. You must not reload the text. Play with the text, format sentences "bold" and then change it back to "normal". it will not go.

Tested with TinyMCE 3.4.7, TinyMCE 3.4.8, IE 8.x

Best regards,
Robin

File a bug report with steps for us to reproduce it and info on what browser it's happening in. So we can track it, close it etc.

Report it here and we will take a look at it.
