I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful Christmas! Personally, I love everything Christmas and we had an amazing time this year — both because I was able to take some time off to really focus on my family and our celebrations and because our girls are getting older and Christmas means more to them now too!

Whether your Christmas was just as you imagined it or didn’t go exactly as planned, now is the perfect time to make some notes about things you want to do differently (or the same!) next year.

For example, we found that our “12 Days of Christmas” was the perfect amount of activities for our family (I’m afraid all month would be too much!), so we’ll definitely do that again. On the other hand, I wish I’d printed my address labels much earlier in the season and started on my Christmas cards before the 19th. And I’m thinking I’d like to get all four girls a nice wooden doll house to share as their main gift next year. I have a feeling I won’t remember any of that by next November, though, unless I put it in writing!
