Annabel Shawl featured in Simply Crochet by Robyn Chachula
Robyn Chachula's latest book, Simply Crochet, is full of beautiful projects from many talented crochet designers. When Robyn asked me to contribute a design to her book, I wholeheartedly said yes. Robyn is a sweetheart and I love collaborating with her.
In Simply Crochet, all the projects are either 1, 3 or 5 skeins and affordable projects. There are tons of tips & tricks from each designer about the projects, too.
My project, the Annabel Shawl, is a lace motif based fabric and the edging is something I made up as I went along because I wanted to try to create a back and forth elaborate edging without doing it in long rows along the end of the shawl. Each repeat of the edging is worked entirely before you move on to make the next repeat. It's different and fun. I hope you enjoy it.
Here is a funny photo! Remember when I went camping last year? I brought this shawl with me to crochet in my downtime between bb gun shooting, archery and general mucking around.
Each designer featured in Simply Crochet is participating in the blog tour. Check out Robyn's blog for more information! Robyn Chachula's Blog
