About Us
Welcome, we are the Martin’s, otherwise known as “Martinpalooza”. We are currently a family of 10. Our eldest child, Jacob, is 11, and our youngest child, Joanna, is two. We have built our family through birth and adoption. We are a family that loves to have fun and spread the joy of life to others through our “everyday lives”. We do our best to love God and love others through all we do. We love to serve together as a family. Sometimes this means being flexible in our “human plans” in order to allow God to teach us through His plans. We aren’t perfect, there are times we have learned “the hard way”, as a result we love to teach others from the lessons God has taught us about His Truth and His Way. Then, maybe, a few more people won’t have to learn “the hard way” 
Years ago, we chose the following verse to guide us in our lives as a family. In the daily “learning opportunities” as parents, we have especially held this verse tightly to keep us focused on what matters most. If we are to delight “in what matters most”, we must remove ALL competing desires and affections. Then, you experience true joy versus mere happiness.
Psalm 37:4-6 “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your ways to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”
