Willamette Week’s Casey Jarman wrote some pretty cool stuff about the comic (and the music). Take a look: WW-Review .

It would be easy to launch a bad comic about a wayward, skinny-jeans-and-hoodie-clad robot who loves kittens and hates most humans. Writer Aaron Cronan and artist Matthew Hopkins—working, for the moment, without the support of a publisher or even a sugar daddy—are crafting what is shaping up to be a very good one. The striking first issue will be available to early adopters today, with a celebratory after-party show at Mississippi Studios (yes, the emo comic book robot has a real-life, Starfucker-esque band—and it’s not bad).
