About Me

There are so many blogs popping up on the internet these days that I figured, with my love for writing, what harm could one more do? I got stuck at the “What to write about” part, so I scoured the internet, trying to find someone who could tell me what I should write about. I never found it. What I did find though, was a line that made my decision very easy. It read, “Make sure it is about something you love”, and instantly, I knew that my blog would almost certainly have to be based on the lives of my wife and children. After all, they are the things I love most in this world, so why not write about the thing I think about 23 hours out of the day? What do I think about for the other hour?? I guess you’ll have to keep checking in to find out.

My name is Chris and this is my little piece of the interweb. I am a 30 something father of 2 wonderful children, Lucas – 3 & Julia – 1, who are the P&B in my PB&J. The “J” belongs to my wife, Kristine (age not provided). She is the glue that holds our family together and absolutely nothing would get done without her. She runs a day care out of our home because she wants to spend every minute with her family and I am eternally grateful for that. I almost called this blog Lazy Dad but figured I may be selling myself a little short. I mean, the kids have a roof over their heads, not to mention, the running hugs they give me when I get home from work says I must be doing something right. Right?

While my main focus is my family, I have a lot of other interests. I sing in a band in my spare time, this is my main escape from reality. Others include movies, gaming, books & hockey pools, lol. I hope to let you in to my life a little bit with this blog and hope you are interested enough to stick around. I’ll review my favorite Dad things and can hopefully grow to the point where I can run contests for the fine folks who decide to stick around. Another thing I love is a good contest, but you’ll find out all about that in the months to come.

Please feel free to leave comments on my posts and share away if you see fit. This should be a fun ride and I’m happy to have you riding shotgun.
