John Glenn, astronaut, in a flight suit and helmet, 1959
I still am amazed by our abilities to take flight across the country, let alone across the world. And to think 60 years ago the US managed to send someone out of our world and back again. Amazing. I just wish this creative energy was used towards exploration and not war as it is now.

Some people get to goto the moon space.. and others get to copy files to 800 thumb drives about it. Either way, thanks John Glenn… 50 years :)
Caution: Merging Galaxies

I just talked to a mother fucker who’s been in space!
Some of you know I work at the John Glenn School at OSU. Well, Senator Glenn has an office here for whatever reason (I’ve never seen him here). So I went to help his assistant with some printer issues and she wasn’t there. But John “I’ve been to outer fucking space” Glenn was and he told me she was out to lunch. Sorry, these are the small things I have in life.
