Hyper ISE is the only True SHD storage system that fuses together SSD and HDD into a single pool of capacity. All performance-starved data is placed on SSD and everything else is kept on HDD. This results in:

Continuous Adaptive Data Placement (CADP)

CADP is XIO patented software that enables True SHD. It learns application behavior and will quickly adapt to ensure applications enjoy the highest levels of performance. CADP calculates real performance benefit of placing hotspot data onto SSD, using Hyper ISE SSDs optimally and only moving data if it will result in a performance improvement. CADP is crucial to achieving the best balance of price/performance/capacity utilization.

ISE Analyzer

XIO provides valuable visual analysis and reporting capabilities of its True SHD performance. As you can see in the diagram, the Hyper ISE has identified three hotspots and has moved them to SSD. You can monitor CADP in action. Additionally, you can run reports on the Hyper ISE performance to analyze performance trending over time.
