Miss Tibet Pageant 2012 — application opens

The Miss Tibet Pageant 2012 will be held in Dharamshala, India, from 8 to 10 June 2012. The application will be online from 1 December 2011 till the end of March 2012.
The contestants will arrive in McLeod Ganj on Monday, 4 June morning. The contestants will meet the press on the 5th morning, after which there will be excursions. The Director has decided to cut the orientation and yoga sessions due to funding issues.
The competition rounds will start with Miss Photogenic on 5 and 6 June through online voting. A pre-judging will be held on 7 June. The swimsuit round will be held on the 8th, followed by Talk and Talent rounds on 9 June. The finale will have four rounds — Introduction, Gown, Traditional costume and Interview — at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts on the 10th evening.
The winner will be given a cash prize of one lakh (100,000.00) rupees. There will be no other prizes.
