Community Nominated Targets proposal system
The PSI:Biology Network invites the community to benefit from its facilities and nominate proteins for structural determination. Participating centers are accepting proposals of collaboration for X-ray crystallography or NMR projects for protein structures of high biological significance. Such projects can include novel proteins, complexes, ligand-bound structures, and membrane proteins. Use this system to submit your proposal. Include a brief description of the science that will be enabled by having structural information. If you have discussed the proposal with a PSI:Biology center, include that information in your request.
Accepted proposals will adhere to PSI policies on data sharing, including deposition of coordinates to the PDB for immediate release. Note that while the centers will make good faith attempts to obtain a structure, a successful result cannot be guaranteed.
