I'm currently inspired by the idea of fresh white walls.
Especially when paired with stunning hardwood floors and natural light galore. The quote in the above image really says it all:
"The neutrality of white allows texture, shadow and light to become focal points rather than afterthoughts."
I'm going to repeat that mantra over and over and over when I'm dying to break out the cans of paint in our new rental!

Love your blog, Gorgeous pictures!
that's funny. you are the second blogger i follow who is moving right now.
That first image is so lovely! The white walls (and the black lines in the windows and balustrade), the hardwooden floor and the zebra chairs are so beautifully brought together in this space. And I couldn't agree more with the quote.

That is a great way to view white - it really is true, too. Color is fun, but white can be fun, too - just need to play with other items to add the dynamics to the room.
Much love,
B
Zebra print is everywhere I look these days - love the contrast with the simple, clean space
I'm so excited for you and the Mr to move down this weekend. You know you'll have us here in SF supporting you with anything you need! And I have a feeling when the paint arrives I'll be there helping you cover the walls.
You've got a great journey ahead of you! xx
if done right, white walls really can look amazing.
White is absolutely my all time favorite wall color.
White for your wall's a good choice, in my opinion. It's like a blank canvas. You can do a lot with it. Very versatile. You can concentrate more on other details to make your home look gorgeous.
