I uploaded new captures from an interview at the The Help premiere last year and also from the “50/50″ – Cast Video Roundtable. Fingers crossed that Bryce attends the Oscars on Sunday! :)

Aside from that, Bryce has unfortunately lost out to Octavia Spencer as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture at the NAACP Image Awards – but I’m still happy that she was rewarded with a nomination for her fantastic and daring performance in The Help!

Examiner interviewed Bryce’s co-star from Twilight, Julia Jones, who had some nice things to say about Bryce that I wanted to share with you:

One of her cast mates that she really enjoyed working with was Bryce Dallas Howard (daughter of the legendary Ron Howard). On Bryce, Julia, “I didn’t do a lot of filming with her, but we hung out on set and did a lot of press together. First of all I relate to her, she’s my age, we went to college in New York at the same time, it was easy to communicate with her. But she’s also had all this experience that I was going through for the first time and helped put it in perspective. Watching the way she handles stuff was helpful.”

It’s a girl, it’s a girl! :) According to Ron Howard’s Twitter account, Bryce gave birth to Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel on January 19th!! Congratulations to the happy family! Baby Beatrice joins big brother, Theo, who will be 5 next month.

Great news everyone – Bryce scored a nomination as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in The Help at the 43rd NAACP Image Awards! She is up against Cicely Tyson (The Help), Kim Wayans (Pariah), Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids) and Octavia Spencer (The Help). The show will take place on February 17th with The Help leading with 8 nominations total. Congratulations to Bryce and the cast! I’ll have my fingers crossed! :)

Summit Entertainment has announced DVD ($26.99) and Blu-ray ($30.49) releases of 50/50 which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogan. Each will be available to own from January 24th. Extras will include an audio commentary with the filmmakers, deleted scenes, a Story of 50/50 featurette, and more. (Source & DVD Cover)
