About » Fanlisting History
I got really bored one day, the 16th of May 2010 to be exact, and I decided to check out the fanlistings that people had been posting to their pages. Whilst I was browsing, I stumbled upon the evolution listing and decided to join since I was studying evolution in anthropology and found the subject to be quite fascinating. After I joined, I found the forensic anthropology listing and wanted to join that, too. However, the rules said that I needed to post a code on my site; that's when I decided to dedicate a small page of fanlisting codes on my resource site, Heartless Adrenaline.
Needless to say, this little time-filler really kept me going. I joined about 300 listings, all of which were on that "small" webpage, before I decided to start a separate website, a collective, to display them on. So then I created a subdomain off of Heartless in July, where all of my joined listings were hosted. However, about two weeks later, I decided to buy a separate domain for my collective for the following reasons:
- It would be easier and less troublesome to own fanlistings.
- I could give open up space and traffic for Heartless.
- I knew that I was probably going to get a domain anyways, so why not do the painful moving and link-changing when I'm only listed at 300 listings, rather than in the future, when I have more schoolwork and more fanlistings to move?
So, I bought Illusion-ism.net from NameCheap on the 2nd of August, as a birthday present to myself. I worked on it a little and it opened on the 4th of August 2010. I'm still a bit of a n00b to fanlistings but I haven't gotten bored yet ;).
About » Name History
OK, so I was a little stupid when I decided on a name for the listing. Instead of thinking of something regarding my fandom, I decided to go with something that
expressed my rapid daydreaming. I thought of a ton of names, many unavailable. Eventually, after thinking of romantic-ism, I got to illusion-ism.
It hinted to the state that visionaries are put through with their daydreams, and the hyphen is to indicate that it's not the type of art but rather a different word.
So now, my daydreaming isn't nearly as rapid and I've kinda grown to detest the name but... whatever. Hopefully I'll grow back onto it one day.

My name is Lilly & I am 17 & I live in a historical centre of the United States & I'm currently in my final year of high school.
I've been into web design since I was 9. I've been owning websites since I was 10 & domains since I was 15.
I like a lot of stuff & I'm sure that you can find some of it around this website. But I'm a picky bitch.
I love animals. I have a red tabby cat named Picklez. I used to have a lot more pets but they died.
And there's a lot more to me & it's spread throughout the internet.
(You may ask for my Facebook, but I only give it to those with whom I am familiar.)
If you'd like to know anything else, just ask. I don't bite hard.
