Let’s take a moment to bow our heads in memory of one of the most incredible—and short-lived—bands of all time, “The Dirty Mac.” Though they formed only for one song, John Lennon’s “Yer Blues” from the Beatles’ “White Album,” the Mac, consisting of John Lennon, a post-Cream Eric Clapton, The Experience’s Mitch Mitchell (arguably the greatest rock drummer of the 1960s), and Keith Richards on bass, were clearly the supergroup of the future.
