Our Strategy

Everybody is passionate about something - whether it's photography, football, Harry Potter, or birdwatching. Most people are not reaching their potential to contribute to society because they spend most of their lives working unsatisfying jobs and watching TV.

Watching TV is a form of consumption. People like to consume, but they also love to create and share. TV only fulfills one of the three needs. But if people love to create and share, why do they still watch so much TV?

Until recently, the right tools weren't available. Historically, only trained professionals had the tools to create and share. These tools were expensive and difficult-to-use - think of cameras 50 years ago.

We solve these problems by building products that meet all three needs:

  1. Make it easy to create - Build tools so each person can easily create.
  2. Make it easy to share - Build communities so each person can easily share their creations.
  3. Make it easy to consume - Build platforms to showcase the best creations.

We look for underserved areas where at least one of these needs - consuming, creating, or sharing - is not being met. Then we build the tools and grow a community. We launch one community per month and our success rate is over 90%. With each community, we learn more about what works, and what doesn't.
