Thank you so much for considering a gift to ASTC. The 21st Century Fund was established by the ASTC Board of Directors in 2006 to respond to the increased impact science centers have on inspiring youth, training educators, and raising public awareness of the role science centers play in addressing the crucial problems facing our global society. Individuals who value ASTC's work and have benefited from it can help keep ASTC a 'change agent' for the science center and museum field into the next century. By making a contribution to the Fund, your gift will support:
- A strong professional development program, including an annual conference, webinars, communities of practice (member driven networks cultivating the collective wisdom and experience of our field and focused on developing valuable content on wide-ranging, relevant issues)
- Updated online tools and resources and use of social media to promote best practices
- Research to document and communicate impact of science centers and informal learning
- Advocacy for the interests of science centers and the field before policy and funding agencies, local and global.
