The eighth meeting of the project partners took place in Perugia, the capital of the region of Umbria. In the model regions the first regional network meeting took place. The presentation of the project BEn aroused great interest. Information on the kick-off meetings can be found here.

The second BEn project meeting with partners of all participating regions took place in Perugia. At the meeting in Italy an intensive discussion about the contents of the BEn-register took place. Representatives from partner organizations in Italy, Great Britain, Poland, Austria, Germany and the European Commission came together at Fraunhofer UMSICHT on November 24th and 25th to launch the three-year, EU funded project »BEn« - Bioenergy register for sustainable site development for European Regions.
