EVGA has made a name for themselves in the VGA business, and is slowly becoming a household name associated with NVIDIA based products, motherboards although a secondary market for them has become one of their mainstream targets as NVIDIA begins to make a complete takeover in the SLI motherboard business. This comes in the wake of the AMD-ATI merger that leaves NVIDIA wide open to a whole new range of business opportunities as their former partner gets left eating dust in the wake of these new events. Even Intel themselves have to smell the coffee brewing as this will put a squeeze on their ATI CrossFire only i975 chipset boards, as ATI's future is in serious question at the moment.

Andrew Han the founder of EVGA is an idea man and his degree in Physics helps him think outside the traditional bubble that most people build their business model after. His unique way of doing things has helped shaped EVGA from a small struggling VGA business, to one of the top players in the NVIDIA ballpark. We are doing an exclusive interview with Andrew on the hows and whys of EVGA, and their concurrent success. There is a lot more about this company that meets the eye and Andrew tells all in our upcoming discussion with him. A lot of users ask why buy EVGA over companies like ASUS and Gigabyte, and the main reasons are support and communication with their customers. On my desk this week is the all new 680i motherboard from NVIDIA and EVGA, take a look under the hood of this motherboard as we dissect it, test it, and then see if its all it cracked up to be.
