The Mountain Jam Festival is produced by CHET-5 Entertainment, LLC, in association with Woodstock, NY’s legendary independent radio station, Radio Woodstock 100.1 (WDST) and acclaimed guitarist Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes Band, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead). The eighth annual Mountain Jam Music Festival will take place at Hunter Mountain, in Hunter, NY from Thursday, May 31, to Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Mountain Jam is a four-day, multi-stage event, featuring approximately 50 bands on 4 stages in one of the Northeast’s most pristine natural amphitheaters. Attendance is limited to 15,000 people (camping is limited to under 5000 people) in order to foster an intimate, fan-friendly environment. Rolling Stone Magazine, along with many other noteworthy national publications, consistently rates Mountain Jam as one to the top music festivals in the country. In 2011, Pollstar recognized Mountain Jam with a nomination for Music Festival of the Year.

The Festival offers 3 day festival tickets with camping and Thursday night Pre-Festival Party additions, premium VIP Passes, and single day tickets. On-site camping and condos, and a variety of nearby hotels, lodges and ski chalets offer attendees a wide variety of accommodations.

Mountain Jam prides itself on being family friendly. Children 10 and under are admitted at no charge with a paid adult and there is a children’s tent with fun-filled activities.

The festival’s forward-thinking Awareness Village will once again host a special acoustic stage, as well as exhibits from not-for-profit organizations and environmental groups, children’s entertainment, performance and sculpture art, physical and spiritual healing, a beer and wine garden, and much more. The Festival will also be continuing its greening efforts with recycling, carbon offsets, and $1 water refills to reduce the usage of plastic water bottles.

Mountain Jam’s VIP experience has been widely acclaimed and sells out every year. There are shaded outdoor hospitality lounges with good views of the 2 main stages, a variety of gourmet hors d’oeuvres and beverages, discounted beer, and air-conditioned VIP bathrooms.
