    The Notre Dame International Security Program is proud to present Dr. Mahdi Obeidi, the former head of Saddam Hussein's nuclear centrifuge program.

    Obeidi's highly acclaimed book, "The Bomb in My Garden: The Secrets of Saddam's Nuclear Mastermind" (written with Kurt Pitzer) details his role prior to 1991 in acquiring the means to produce the highly enriched uranium necessary to build an atomic bomb and presents his take on whether Iraq had a nuclear capability after 9/11.…
