DIY Dollar Store Cake Ball/Cupcake Stand
Hello...wow!  I am beat!   After work today I came home to fill an order for 6 dozen red velvet cakeballs.  I thought it would be nice to share how this cake ball/cupcake stand was made.  This was made with all Dollar Store finds, it was orignially made for a 50th Zebra/Diva birthday Event for a very dear friend of mine...see below.  So, when I was given an order for a 40th birthday, It was decided it would be perfect for this event also.

How this stand was made:
3 black charger plates
2 Zebra Print Tumblers
1 Hot Pink Boa

  Around the rim of the tumbler apply adhesive (my fav E600), center tumbler upside down on the charger plate add adhesive to the bottom of the same tumbler and center the next charger plate on top of that,  you will do the same process for the next layer.
Next  adhear your boa around the bottom and in between layers.

A very inexpensive way to create your one of a kind display
On this display I added the numbers 4 and 0 for forty and  add some rhinestones to give it some bling

 

 Red Velvet cake balls dipped in dark chocolate and drizzled in white chocolate

The stands were orginally used for this Zebra/Diva event, but for this event they held zebra print (made from fondant) red velvet  and lemon cupcakes, vases were placed on top with zebra printed flowers... I couldn't find printed zebra flowers, so I made my own by using a sharpie black pen and drew on zebra print on white daisies, just another little tip.

 White Chocolate dipped marshmellows, waffer pop's, cake balls and carmel wrapped dipped pretzels 

For the back drop I used  3 different colors of netting and added Black Boa's
I love doing events...they are so much work, but I love doing it.
