News: Sota Construction Services, Inc. is proud to announce the successful completion of the adaptive reuse of the former South Hills High School. This 240,000 s.f. former school that was abandoned for nearly 20 years was developed by a.m. Rodriguez into 106 market rate and affordable residences for seniors and over 12,000 s.f. of neighborhood commercial use. The project was finished under budget and ahead of schedule and is expected to receive a GOLD LEED certification. Sota Construction Services, Inc. sough and received a PEDA grant to install an innovative co-generation and photo voltaic hybrid system which will generate almost 100,000 watts of electricity and will provide a very significant part of the building's electrical load and hot water heating load. This hybrid system is the first of its kind to be installed in Pennsylvania. MORE>>
