About Bryn
Bryn Johnson Consulting is simply a combination of all business conversations I love to have – strategy, career management, personal development, social media, technology, recruiting, communications and networking!
For 20 years, I worked in corporate America as a passionate leader of high-performing teams and endless multi-million dollar projects at powerhouses such as Monster.com and MetLife. One of my secrets to success? My ability to take complicated information and quickly make it simple.
I am now bringing all that passion for planning and collaborating along with my laser-focused implementation strategies to my small business and individual clients. Helping people step out of “planning paralysis” and illuminate the path to their goal. Whether you are building a business development plan, creating a social media strategy, identifying that ideal new position, creating an internal/external communication blueprint or anything in between, these proven methods can work for you! I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and jump in there–complete with my post-it notes, colored markers and flipcharts!
A Quick Look Inside “Personal Bryn”
Residence: Live in Manhattan overlooking a park and Cathedral St. John the Divine with peacocks in my backyard. Truly divine.
Crazy Love: Office supplies. Giddy with new markers, flipchart paper, colored pencils, index cards, post-its, push pins… you name it!
Dream Job: Owner of a limitless animal sanctuary filled with rescued pets, wild animals and farm animals. For now, I support my local shelters and raise my three rescue kitties: Elliott, Cooper and Harry- “the boys”
Proudest Role in Corporate: Self-Proclaimed Recruiting Evangelist
Favorite Distraction: Coffee. Happy, sad, angry, overwhelmed, bored… coffee.
Person I Would Most Want to Meet Alive or Dead: Jim Henson. Hands down. He was a creative genius whose legacy embodies my wish for freedom, community, self-expression and utter joy.
Favorite Holiday: The first day of snow… it is a full-blown holiday in my world!
Common Misspelling/Mispronunciation of My Name: Brynn. Bren. Brynne. Bryan. Brin. Byrn. Brie. UGH.
Alter-ego: At Starbucks, I am “Jill” because it makes me absolutely insane to walk around all day with a 99% chance that the “Bryn” on my cup will be spelled incorrectly. And then once recently, they spelled “Jill” wrong. The Universe laughed.
One of my Favorite Compliments: “You are most urban country girl I’ve ever met!”
