Inspiring Quality Forum March 2, 2012 San Diego California |
On Friday, March 2, more than 100 participants attended the ACS Surgical Health Care Quality Forum San Diego at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA. ACS President-Elect A. Brent Eastman, MD, FACS, chief medical officer and corporate senior vice president, Scripps Health, moderated the forum, with keynote speaker ACS Executive Director, David B. Hoyt, MD, FACS, who explained the four quality measures that are driving the ACS Inspiring Quality initiative. Panelists discussed San Diego County's trauma system, which Drs.
