About Carla M. Lee
Six Word Biography: Feminist Writer-Lawyer-Biker. Use caution.
More Information:
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, with an emphasis in writing and a minor in small press publishing, from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
I write poetry, prose, reviews, essays, and newspaper columns. My current novel-length project is a young adult novel about ghosts and werewolves, but the shorter writing gets updated here far more often than I talk about that.
I love werewolves, full moons, and the Pacific Northwest, all which go together well. In my spare time, I ride motorcycles, the most recent a Honda Shadow. I used to play the piano and the clarinet quite well and am trying to teach myself the bass guitar. I love technology. I use the internet for a lot of things, including staying in touch with my favorite people. I play computer games and console games and mobile games.
I swear and frequently have gender rage, sexuality rage, and race rage. I analyze the presentation of characters of color, fat women, and bisexual, homosexual, and straight female characters in media.
