Carly Silberman

Catering & Business Development Manager

From her first forays in food with an Easy Bake Oven, to various gardening and berry picking adventures, on through baking alongside her Yugoslavian grandmother, and eventually to completing the Art Institute of Colorado Culinary School’s pastry program, Carly brings to DISH her love of fresh local food, an erudite taste for sweets, and an appreciation for how great food makes life and times special.

Here at DISH, Carly designs and produces catering plans that express each client’s vision in every detail. She’s also often found in the kitchen, baking specialty pastries or just darn good cookies. Raised in upstate New York but called to Colorado’s mountains, Carly enjoys tapping Boulder’s wealth of creative artisans – from skilled florists and musicians, to the organic family farms that produce the fresh foods clients revere. When she’s not busy here, Carly keeps busy with other labors of love. Whether enjoying la bella vita on a bicycle in Italy or exploring the rest of the world, the outdoors always beckons. A home gardener, she cans her own preserves. In her spare time, she volunteers for Growe Foundation, a local nonprofit focused on gardening in elementary schools.

Great food is how Carly expresses her passion for life, for love, for nature, for family and really, for all good things.
