Beers

Shotgun Betty

Shotgun Betty is a sexy, tough cowgirl who is always armed and dangerous. Don’t be fooled by her good looks, she will have you for an appetizer! That’s why we picked her to represent our Hefeweizen. Shotgun Betty is a wheat beer with rich, banana-clove nose and refreshing dry finish. Sound good? Try one. But beware, once Betty gets a hold of you there is no escape. 5.8% ABV

Peacemaker

Peace is a dangerous thing. Peacemaker is a west coast style American Pale Ale that uses several hop varieties to produce a unique and bountiful hop aroma with a balanced bitterness. A special blend of American and European malts make this a very well rounded, characterful beer. 5.7% ABV.

Sweet Josie

A temptress who will seduce you, Sweet Josie is crafted in the American Brown style. This is a complex beer balancing a nice hop bitterness with a generous amount of chocolate and aromatic malts. 6.1% ABV.

Deadeye Jack

A wandering Lonerider, never staying in one place too long. Deadeye Jack represents our seasonal porter consisting of a strong malty background with hints of roasted chocolate, subtle sweetness and low hop bitterness. 6.0% ABV.

Belle Starr

Be wary of Starr’s smile, there is something sinister behind her innocent look. Belle Starr is a Belgian-style Dubbel brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain, caramelized beet sugar and festive holiday spices. Expect hints of dark fruit, sweet cinnamon-apple and a warming finish. 7.7% ABV.

Brew It Forward 2009 – Gunslinger

Cool, calm, and collected; his eyes always focused on the target. Gunslinger Pilsner is our Czech style pilsner with a generous dose of Czech Saaz hops and Bohemian Pilsner malts to match. Don’t expect a toned down pilsner. Gunslinger was the winner of LoneRider’s 2009 Brew It Forward homebrew competition. The recipe is designed by homebrewer Kevin Cosentino of Wilmington, NC and then brewed by Kevin and the LoneRider brew crew. 5.1% ABV.

Brew It Forward 2010 – Grave Robber

A slow chill runs down your spine as Grave Robber passes by. By the time you notice him its too late. Grave Robber Black IPA is velvety, rich and roasty with aggressive hop bitterness and flavor. It balances German Chocolate and Crystal malts with Summit, Amarillo and Simcoe hops.  Grave Robber is the winner of Lonerider’s 2010 Brew It Forward homebrew competition.  The recipe is designed by homebrewer Donavan Dolph of Chapel Hill, NC and then brewed by Donavan and the LoneRider brew crew. 7.5% ABV
