Arctic Noise Testing
Ambient noise monitoring is conducted on the Arctic ice at –50ºF, with sound measurement instrumentation kept warm inside of an insulated enclosure with a silent propane-powered thermo-electric generator that produces heat and electricity. This is used to predict the environmental noise impact on native wildlife of a future gas processing plant. (HFP Acoustical Consultants)
