Wind Chamber Music Institute

The Wind Chamber Music Institute provides a creative and intense course of study open to high school music students (grades 9-12) who play flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon.

This one-week camp will consist of:

• Three chamber ensemble rehearsals per day
• Additional daily offerings in two of the following (selected by the student):
  • Music Theory
  • History of Chamber Music
  • Music Appreciation
  • Basic Music Composition
• Private instruction
• Daily instrument masterclass
• Camp chorus
• An end of camp concert where all students will perform

The summer 2010 institute will be held July 11-17 in the Performing Arts Center on the Frostburg State University campus.
