About

Hello, I’m Seth Werkheiser.

The shit hit the fan a few years back, when my marriage of eight years came to abrupt halt. I actually thought I was going to die in a ditch somewhere.

Well, that didn’t happen, but lots of other stuff did.

I landed (and quit) my dream job. I got rid of all my stuff. I left Brooklyn, NY on my bicycle and rode across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I then traveled by bus (with my bike still) through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama to New Orleans, Louisiana. You can buy my eBook, ‘Seven Months‘ to see how I did that.

From New Orleans I made my way through Texas, up to Oklahoma and as far west as New Mexico.

In the summer of 2011 I traveled by bike and train from Miami, FL to Portland, ME – 12 cities in 14 days. Read my ebook, ‘Florida to Maine by Bike and Train‘ to see how the heck that happened.

I’ve been on the road since August of 2010, living each day as best I can. I don’t have a bike anymore, but I’m still carrying everything I own in a bag (currently a Chrome Yalta). My bills are paid by working with wonderful clients and selling robots.
