Wired Outdoors team

spacer Every year it amazes me how fast the season gets here and how fast it flies by!  So far this year, the Wired Outdoors team has been very blessed, scoring on some nice hogs in Florida, bears in Alberta, turkeys in Pennsylvania and Florida, and elk in New Mexico.   Now the season really gets going and we will be traveling to Maine for Moose, Wisconsin, Illinois, Oklahoma and Alberta for whitetail.

This past week we were covered up in elk all week long in New Mexico with United States Outfitters.  While I personally didn't get one, which is what happens many times when you are holding out for a big one, our co-host Kyle Schwabenbauer took his very first archery elk!  It was an unbelievable hunt and one thatspacer I will never forget.  See this hunt on an upcoming episode of Wired Outdoors on the Sportsman Channel.

Like we do on all our hunts, anytime we are in a tree, we are wearing our Hunter Safety System Pro Series vests.  This is the second year we have wore this harness and they are extremely easy to use and very lightweight.  We not only use them when we are hunting, but we also use them for hanging stands.  We can't stress enough, whenever you are going up a tree, whether you are hanging stands or hunting, you should ALWAYS be attached to the tree and there is NO EXCUSE anymore, Hunter Safety System has made it easy!

Season II of Wired Outdoors premiered on October 1st on the Sportsman Channel and will run until the end of December 2010.  Last year we were truly honored to have been voted by fans across the nation as one of the TOP FIVE BEST HUNT SHOWS on the channel.  This season things are even better! We hope you will tune in every Friday night at 6:30 PM eastern time on the Sportsman Channel.  You can also find us online and watch all episodes "ON DEMAND" in high def at www.WiredOutdoors.com.  Also, take a minute and become a fan on Facebook at www.facebook.com/WiredOutdoors!   Until next time, make sure you are "Stayin Safe" and good luck hunting.
