Thanks for visiting the press section. The first-ever international TYPO San Francisco design conference starts in April at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. More than 30 international experts in design, graphic arts, typography, information and digital design, brand experience, film, animation and publishing and up to 800 guests from across the globe are expected to attend. For two days, stars of the scene and new faces will take to the stage in San Francisco to present their personal point of view on this year’s theme “Connect”.
The unique event is based on the hugely successful TYPO Berlin, which is in its 17th year running as Europe’s biggest and most important design conference, and last year´s TYPO London (Creative Review: “Congratulations to all involved and let’s hope the event becomes a regular fixtur”, Eye: “The first TYPO London conference took many locals by surprise … it was a big event, it was also expansive in its programming, gathering fine artists, film-makers, book designers, art directors, and typeface designers”, Grafik Mag: “An absolute cracker … a raft of top-notch speakers from the type and graphic design worlds”).
