Baylor blogs are moving!

The future of blogging at Baylor here!

Baylor University has a new WordPress-based blogging service at blogs.baylor.edu, which is hosted by Edublogs. Edublogs is a company that specializes in large-scale WordPress implementations for colleges and universities. All faculty, staff, and graduate student WordPress accounts at homepages.baylor.edu registered prior to Aug. 11, 2011, also exist on the Edublogs server–please read our new Site Registration Instructions page for details about how to access those old accounts, create new ones, or learn more information about our courseblog pilot for undergraduates.

Over the next academic year, all personal accounts at homepages.baylor.edu will be transitioned to the new system, so we encourage everyone to start using their site at Edublogs as soon as possible.

What’s so cool about Edublogs?

The most exciting part of Edublogs is that it will allow us to pilot academic courseblogs and e-portfolios for undergraduates. In addition, our users will be able to have multiple sites and collaborate with peers across the university to manage them.

Questions?

If you have additional questions about our move to Edublogs, please contact Lance Grigsby, academic consultant, at (254)710-4553.
