Backpacker magazine and the new Dust

Backpacker magazine calls the Julbo Dust a great pair of multisport sunglasses in its Spring Buyers Guide. This is no one-trick pony: Not only is the Dust ideal for hiking, its also superior for climbing and mountain biking, thanks to slim (and super-sticky) earpieces that tuck unobtrusively beneath a helmt. Plus, its photochromic Zebra lenses adapt to a wide range of conditions. I never had to squint, since the tint darkens quickly when moving from woods to open ridges, says a tester.

New Dolphins are paddling-friendly sunglasses

In its recent gift guide, Canoe & Kayak magazine had this to say about the new Dolphin sunglasses: In an effort to forever abolish the use of improvised duct-tape Croakies, the new Julbo Dolphin sunglasses will not sink when you swim. On your head, where they belong, the Dolphins polarized lenses and contoured shape keeps you seeing clear on the brightest days.

Julbos Orbiter goggles catch SKI magazines attention

In a January 2012 article titled The Eyes Have It, SKI magazine says this about Julbo Orbiter goggles: Julbos polarized, photochromic Camel lens automatically adjusts to changing light, transitioning from category 2 light transmission (good in low light) to category 4 (best in intense sunlight). No more swapping lenses or goggles.

Backcountry Magazine, the Montebianco & the Glenak

Backcountry Magazine featured two Julbo products in its 2012 Photo Annual edition. The editors dig the Montebianco glasses for the way up the mountain, and the Glenak goggles for the descent. On the Glenaks, they write: Julbos signature Camel lens is both photochromatic and polarized. Read: one lens that spans bright to dark days.
